Healthcare Gateway`s unique software connects over 180 health and social care organisations across the UK to share 30 million patient records. Our product, the "MIG" provides healthcare professionals with instant access to real-time information held about a patient from many different settings.

This role is field based and will cover our Southern region including the Midlands, and will require travel UK wide from time to time, so you`ll need to hold a Full UK driving licence. We`ll make sure you`re set up with a car, laptop and phone as part of your package.

About the role

As our customer relationship manager, you`ll work closely with end user clinicians and customer localities to make sure our customers are getting the most out of our product the "MIG". You`ll focus yourself on becoming a trusted advisor to your customers by raising awareness, best practice and strengthening loyalty. This will involve overseeing the day to day running of the account, being the first point of contact for any escalations and promoting best practices. Another part of your role will be working with customers on high level programme management, managing the relationship at programme board level and planning and monitoring of customer rollout plans.

We`re extremely customer focussed and want to make sure we`re delivering the best service possible to our customers, so we`ll look to you to carry out regular customer satisfaction surveys and to identify and suggest any improvements to make sure we`re doing this.

Whilst this role is field based, you`ll have regular contact with the team`s at Healthcare Gateway, including our sales, marketing, project management and development teams, so plenty of support around you, to help you to succeed in your role!

Who you are

We want to make sure you are set for success, this isn`t all about your skills and that is why we would love to talk to you even if perhaps you don`t fit all of the below.

  • you`ll have an account management/customer relationship background, ideally in a field based role
  • any project/programme management experience would be great
  • you`ll be passionate about delivering first class customer service, with a track record of building and managing key relationships with people at all levels
  • a consultative approach
  • any healthcare experience would be welcomed, as would any knowledge of the NHS market
  • able to work well under pressure
  • great problem solving skills
  • full UK driving licence and flexible to travel across the UK when required
